A psychologist and psychotherapist working within the psychodynamic approach, as well as a certified specialist in addiction psychotherapy. She graduated from the Faculty of Psychology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She completed a four-year Psychotherapy Training and a two-year School of Group Psychotherapy at Laboratorium Psychoedukacji in Warsaw, as well as the Addiction Therapy Training at the Institute of Health Psychology in Warsaw. She has also completed first-level training in Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT) and training in the implementation of Controlled Drinking Programmes.
She gained her clinical experience at the "Dziekanka" Provincial Hospital for Nervous and Mentally Ill Patients in Gniezno, the Poznań Mental Health Center, and the "Zielone Centrum" Community Support Centre in Poznań, as well as at the General Psychiatric Ward of the Prof. Jan Mazurkiewicz Mazovian Specialist Health Centre in Pruszków. She has also worked at the Addiction Treatment Centre, the Addiction Prevention Centre, the inpatient Addiction Treatment Ward at the Provincial Hospital in Poznań, and at the Addiction Clinic for Children and Adolescents in Warsaw. She is currently employed at the Family Counselling Centre of the Addiction Treatment Centre in Warsaw.
Karolina provides consultations and individual psychotherapy for adults and adolescents aged 13 and above. She works under regular supervision with a certified supervisor of the Polish Psychological Association.
